The PM Line Cook will work with the Executive Chef and the culinary team to create memorable dining experience for Outlets and Banquets areas that exceeds our guests' expectations. The Line Cook will prepare food items in a timely and consistent manner while adhering to health codes, hotel and LHW standards.

Prepare entrees and food items for all Outlets as required
Demonstrate great work ethics, pride and creativity to exceed guests' expectations
Take precautions to prevent food spoilage loss of product
Maintain knowledge of all daily and special menu items and recipes
Follow recipes, focusing on presentation and taste of dishes according to Hotel Granduca standards
Adhere to all training of food preparation, hygiene, grooming standards and Health regulations
Check food storage areas and refrigerators for cleanliness and proper functioning and report any discrepancies to the supervisor
Ensure that all Mise en Place is prepared according to production plan and kitchen operating standards
Ensure constant rotation of all products in the kitchens
Ensure compliance of all OSHA, Federal and State regulations
Actively participate in all training activities
Practice the Hotel Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
Maintain a professional and cordial demeanor towards internal and external guests
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year related experience in a luxury or full-service hotel
ServSafe or Food Handler's certificate required
Experience in baking, broiling, frying, steaming, braising and sautéing
Must be familiar with different garnishes for attractive presentation
Ability to withstand hot and cold temperatures
Demonstrate excellent command of English, verbal and written
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
Bilingual - English and Spanish - preferred
Must be able to push, carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to stand, bend, lift, stretch, reach up to 2 feet, use hands, for long periods
Ability to taste and smell, see and hear
May be required to occasionally work another shift, based on business needs
