    The Executive Housekeeper will ensure that all areas of the Housekeeping department including rooms and public space, are cleaned and maintained according to LHW and Hotel Granduca standards, while exceeding guests' expectations.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for "hands-on" management of the daily operations of the Housekeeping department and public areas of the hotel
    • Maintain ongoing communication with all departments to ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to hotel and LHW standards
    • Comply with federal and State regulations, including OSHA,  Health and Safety policies
    • Communicate with other departments includinhg Engineering and Front Office to ensure timely resolution and guest satisfaction
    • Schedule appropriately to control labor costs and stay within department budget
    • Monitor daily and maintain adequate inventory of necessary supplies, equipment and linens and prepare purchase orders
    • Address and resolve guests' issues in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction
    • Recruit, train and develop the Housekeeping team to adhere to LHW standards and exceed guests' expectations
    • Coordinate and chair daily pre-shift and monthly meetings
    • Attend and participate in required meetings
    • Practice and enforce the Hotel Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
    • Collaborate with HRD to manage conflict resolution within department
    • Support supervisors and assist on the floors when necessary
    • Utilize LHW guidelines to train team to maintain LQA standards
    • Create a positive environment and promote teamwork in department
    • Generate occupancy, VIP requests, arrival and departure report
    • Perform daily inspection of rooms and public areas
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or College credits 
    • At least 5 years' related experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a full service or luxury hotel
    • Must be energetic, self-motivated and positive team player
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively
    • Positive leadership skills during during busy times
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft - Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
    • Excellent command of English language, verbal and written
    • Must possess a working knowledge of Spanish
    • Ability to work any shift based on staffing needs and business demands
    • A courteous, professional demeanor
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of staff and management
