    The Housekeeper will provide warm, inviting and clean guest rooms and public space while ensuring exceptional service according to Hotel Granduca and LHW standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Clean guests' rooms, suites, bathrooms and public space to exceed LHW and hotel standards
    • Maintain a cordial and professional demeanor towards internal and external guests
    • Respect guests' need for privacy and maintain confidentiality of guest information
    • Promptly deliver all Lost & Found items to Loss Prevention
    • Report maintenance and other issues to department manager and supervisor
    • Provide exceptional service while maintaining a cordial and professional demeanor
    • Follow the proper procedures when entering and cleaning an occupied or vacant room
    • Maintain an adequate inventory of linens and sundry items
    • Dust, mop, vacuum, strip and replace linen and sanitize all areas of rooms, furniture and floors 
    • Empty ash trays and remove trash
    • Promptly respond to guest issues related to room cleanliness and supplies
    • Practice proper handling of chemicals according to OSHA regulations
    • Maintain knowledge of hotel and area, services and amenities
    • Adhere to OSHA regulations and hotel policies
    • Practice the hotel's Daily Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
    • Attend scheduled meetings and training
    • Update status of rooms to supervisor and record as required
    • Ensure cart is adequately stocked and maintained in a neat and tidy manner
    • Provide assistance to the team
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent 
    • At least 1 year experience as a Housekeeper in a luxury or full-service hotel
    • Must possess excellent organizational skills and demonstrate pride in work
    • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
    • Must possess good command of English, verbal and written
    • Bilingual  - English and Spanish - preferred
    • Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
    • Ability to effectively communicate with guests
    • Ability to pull, push or carry at least 50 lbs
    •  Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, kneel, crouch, and use both hands, see, hear, smell, touch 
    • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays 
    • Knowledge of proper chemical handling
