    The F&B Supervisor will assist and support the team in creating a memorable dining experience that meets the standards of LHW and Hotel Granduca, while exceeding our guests' expectations.

    Responsibilities

    • Actively participate in the training of the F&B team to ensure a memorable experience and excellent service to all guests
    • Provide "Hands on" service by assisting with hosting, serving, bussing and expediting to ensure guests' requests and needs are satisfied
    • Demonstrate a positive attitude and genuine passion for catering to our guests'needs
    • Maintain knowledge of VIP's, occupancy, functions and events, hotel services, hours of operation and local area and attractions
    • Maintain visibility on the floor and promptly acknowledge and resolve all guests concerns in cordial and professional manner
    • Promptly greet and seat guests and take orders as required to ensure efficient and timely service
    • Maintain a warm, friendly but cordial demeanor towards internal and external guests
    • Touch all tables and listen to guests' complaints and follow up to timely resolution
    • Complete pass down logs and methods of communication and assist with necessary side work to ensure readiness for the incoming shift
    • Update management on all guest concerns and implement methods to improve service
    •  Maintain a working knowledge of, and ensure compliance with, all statutory requirements regarding all food and beverage operations
    •  Maintain Hotel standards of appearance with regards to hygiene and grooming
    • Consistently demonstrate service excellence through the effective implementation  of the Granduca Hotels Core Values and LHW Service Standards
    •  Actively participate in department and other meetings as required
    •  Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum high School Diploma or equivalent
    • At least 1 year experience in a F&B supervisory role in a luxury or full service hotel
    •  Genuine care and true appreciation for the guests 
    •  Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
    • Proficiency with Microsoft programs - Word, Excel, powerpoint
    • Excellent command of English, verbal and written and ability to understand and follow directions
    • Experience with Micros system
    • Knowledge of all menu items and beverages with the ability to upsell product
    •  Proven ability to achieve goals and demonstrate a cordial and professional demeanor during busy times
    •  Effective decision making abilities coupled with sound judgement
    •  Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of guests and offer appropriate options and solutions
    •  Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner
    •  Exceptional email and telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
    •  Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor the F&B team
    • Availability to work all required shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
