The Sous Chef will assist and support the Executive Chef and culinary team and ensure a memorable dining experience that exceeds our guests' expectation according to LHW and Hotel Granduca standards.

Assist in managing the daily operations of the kitchen, coordinate food production schedules and ensure highest level of food quality, taste and presentation
Participate in food preparation, and expedite during peak meal periods if necessary
Educate culinary team on cost control and train Culinary, F&B and steward teams on the proper handling of leftover food items
Comply with health department, hotel sanitation and food handling guidelines
Maintain effective communication within the culinary team and other departments to ensure smooth operation of department and excellent guest service
Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen/dishwashing areas, coolers, counters, equipment and work stations
