The Human Resources Manager will perform related administrative duties while providing support to management and ensuring compliance of all laws and regulations.

  • Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, benefit administration, records management, safety and health, and employee relations functions
  • Conduct investigations and resolve issues in a timely and confidential manner
  • Ensure fair and proper hiring to minimize turnover and promote retention 
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment to include daily maintenance of  applicant tracking system and job boards
  • Conduct and track training to include orientation and other training as required by law and brand standards
  • Ensure compliance with required permits and certifications and training 
  • Enforce and and apply policies, procedures and standards in  fair and consistent manner 
  • Provide support and guidance in disciplinary matters
  • Maintain open communication with General Manager and management team to resolve conflict 
  • Coordinate employee relations functions and team building activities 
  • Seek advice of higher level management with employee-related matters
  • Maintain an open door policy and communicate effectively with all levels of employees
  • Practice and enforce the Daily Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
  • Attend all meetings as required
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and Benefits Open Enrollment
  • Maintain an accurate, efficient and confidential filing system
  • Administer and maintain all employee benefits programs
  • Monitor and manage Workers' Comp and UI claims to minimize liability
  • Attend and participate in Safety meeting
  • Assist with performance evaluations and ensure timely completion
  • Monitor Payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Perform daily duties in a fair and consistent manner to exemplify the culture of Granduca Hotels 
  • Manage HRIS system and process data to reflect accurate employee information including change of records
  • Ensure confidentiality in all HR and employee-related matters
  • Maintain and comply with I-9/everify policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years related managerial experience in a full service or luxury hotel
  • Experience with recruiting, screening, onboarding, training in hospitality
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Must demonstrate excellent command of English, verbal and written
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish  preferred
  • Must demonstrate excellent time management  and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent work ethics and ability to multi-task
  • Prior experience with I-9 and e-verify processing
  • Excellent email and telephone etiquette
  • Prior experience with ADP platforms and ICIMS required
  • Ability to resolve problems and issues in a timely, calm  and confidential manner
  • Possess a professional, positive and pleasant, demeanor to internal and external guests
  • Must demonstrate a pleasant, courteous demeanor and ability to listen, comprehend and articulate responses effectively
  • Must be available to work weekdays and extended hours or weekends as required
