    The Seasonal Pool Server is responsible for ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience in the pool/patio area by providing impeccable service that exceeds our guests' expectations and LHW standards.

    • Promptly greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
    • Deliver menus and describe, promote and upsell food & beverage items 
    • Remove and replenish towels, napkins, dishes, condiments in the pool/patio area
    • Ensure pool deck is clean and well-maintained at all times
    • Ensure an adequate supply of towels and other necessities in the pool/patio area
    • Maintain visibility, identify needs and promptly assist guests as required
    • Assist in creating the perfect ambiance utilizing canopies, umbrellas, lanterns, candles
    • Promptly report all maintenance issues or missing items to management
    •  Follow up with management and culinary team to resolve guest issues and complaints
    • Adhere to Hotel Granduca policies, Standard of Appearance and applicable laws and regulations
    • Demonstrate a genuine passion and enthusiasm to assist guests
    • Maintain a pleasant, warm and cordial demeanor 
    • Practice the Hotel Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
    • Assist team members to ensure guests are completely satisfied
    • Maintain knowledge of food, all beverage, special offers, amenities, hotel facilities and hours of operation
    • Maintain knowledge of occupancy, VIP's, rooms, daily events and functions, local area and attractions
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    • Minimum requirement high school diploma or equivalent
    • At least 1 year related experience in a full-service or luxury hotel
    • Ability to walk, stand, crouch, reach, bend, sit and carry to 15 lbs
    • Must possess updated knowledge of menu items, wines and liquors and special offers

    • TABC certificate required

    • Food Handlers' certificate required
    • Excellent command of English, verbal and written

    • Bilingual - English and Spanish - preferred
    • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
    • Demonstrate an outgoing, pleasant and professional demeanor
    • Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills required
