The Night Auditor  is responsible for the efficient performance of daily front office operations while delivering warm and engaging service and assisting guests in a manner that exemplifies LHW and Hotel Granduca standards.

  • Maintain knowledge of hotel and surrounding areas
  • Promptly greet guests with warmth and genuine smile upon arrival
  • Maintain visibility and be ready to assist guests when needed
  • Maintain knowledge of VIP's, occupancy, meeting rooms and guest room type
  • Handle billing and transactions on guest’s folio, obtaining appropriate method of payment for reservations
  • Maintain confidentiality with all guest financial, business or personal information
  • Perform room escorts and explain hotel features and services
  • Assist with Valet and Concierge services as required
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to questions and concerns and acknowledge all guests by name
  • Maintain updated knowledge of hotel amenities and services, hours of operations, rates and special packages & promotions   
  • Keep assigned bank secure at all times and ensure accuracy of cash
  • Communicate with LP department to locate and retrieve Lost & Found items
  • Promptly inform LP of unusual activities or disturbance in the hotel
  • Answer department telephone within 3 rings and using proper telephone etiquette  
  • Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments
  • Assist others departments and performs other duties as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the entire shift
  • Complete pass-down logs and communicate with incoming shift and Manager
  • Maintain a professional and neat appearance according to LHW and Hotel Granduca guidelines
  • Complete night audit checklist and reports
  • Practice the Hotel Core Values and 3 Steps of Service
  • Perform other duties as assigned







  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years' experience in a full-service  or luxury hotel
  • Excellent command of English and ability to understand and follow instructions, verbal and written
  • Possess a warm, welcoming and professional demeanor
  • Excellent time-management skills and maintain a calm and courteous demeanor
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of Hotel PMS preferred
  • Computer skills required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office software - Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Must be available to work required shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
