Bar - Servers


To serve food and beverages to guests according to established Hotel Granduca standards and in an engaging and hospitable manner.


  • Responsible for proper and efficient dining area and bar set up.
  • Responsible for complete and efficient breakdown and cleanup of dining area and bar set up.
  • Responsible for knowledge of all menu, both food and beverage, and daily specials.
  • Responsible for providing bar, wine and cocktail service within TABC guidelines and in according with Granduca’s Alcoholic Beverage Service Policy.
  • Responsible for extensive knowledge of all beverage offerings and basic mixology skills.
  • Responsible for knowledge of all types of service offered.
  • Operate Point of Sale system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new associates.
  • Participate and assist in controlling the loss and waste of food and beverage product and following F&B guidelines with regard to staff food and beverage consumption.
  • Responsible for knowledge of Hotel Granduca’s facilities and amenities to assist guests with directions and questions.
  • Must maintain a professional, neat and organized appearance according to Hotel Granduca standards.
  • Must be passionate about providing warm, engaging and personalized service.

  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.


  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment preferred

  • Must possess clear, concise written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate professionally and effectively with guests, fellow associates, and vendors.

  • Current TABC Seller Certification
  • Current Texas Food Handler's Certificate
  • Must be a legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol.
