Ristorante Visconti will hightlight authentic northern Italian cuisine combined with seasonal and local specialities that will temp any palate.  Our fine dining, three meal a day restaurant will feature 114 seats of both indoor and outdoor seating, embraced by the luxurious surroundings of Hotel Granduca.  Designed to be the only Five Star Hotel in Austin, Texas, Hotel Granduca Austin will provide unprecedented luxurious hotel accommodations and a world-class epicurean experience in a stunning Italian-inspired hotel. 


The Restaurant Bartenter will serve food and beverages to guests according to established Hotel Granduca standards and in an engaging and hospitable manner.


  • Responsible for proper and efficient dining area and bar set up.
  • Responsible for complete and efficient breakdown and cleanup of dining area and bar set up.
  • Knowledge of all menu, both food and beverage, and daily specials.
  • Provide bar, wine and cocktail service within TABC guidelines and in according with Granduca’s Alcoholic Beverage Service Policy.
  • Extensive knowledge of all beverage offerings and basic mixology skills.
  • Properly mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage to members and guests.
  • Responsible for condition of all glassware and bar tools.
  • Maintain cash banks (where applicable) and ensure complete and accurate guest billing with legible documentation of all transactions.
  • Perform in a manner which demonstrates the philosophies of the Essence of Granduca.Maintain overall presentation of all areas including cleanliness, physical condition, and appropriate stocking of all condiments.
  • Operate Point of Sale system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Responsible for knowledge of Hotel Granduca’s facilities and amenities to assist guests with directions and questions.
  • Must maintain a professional, neat and organized appearance according to Hotel Granduca standards.

  • Must be passionate about providing warm, engaging and personalized service.

  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.



  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment preferred

  • Must possess clear, concise written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate professionally and effectively with guests, fellow associates, and vendors.

  • Current TABC Seller Certification.

  • Current Texas Food Handler’s Certificate

  • Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol.
