The Guest Services Concierge is responsible for responding to a wide variety of guest requests within the hotel arrival area.  Providing a positive first and lasting impression as guests arrive and leave the hotel.  Assisting guests with check-in and check-out.  Assessing guest’s needs and adding personal recommendation. Assisting with guest amenities and any additional miscellaneous duties.  The Guest Services Concierge will assist guests in accordance to service standards and hotel procedures, they answer department phone using telephone etiquette, and assist hotel departments with any request.


  • Greets all guests on arrival, departure and during their stay
  • Opens all car doors
  • Assists guest with luggage
  • Drives guests in the house car
  • Checks guests in and out of the hotel
  • Handles billing and transactions on guest’s folio, obtaining method of payment for reservations
  • Performs room escorts and explains hotel features and services
  • Maintains updated knowledge of hotel amenities and services, hours of operations, rates and special packages & promotions
  • Maintains updated and current knowledge of the city happenings - local attractions, shows, concerts, entertainment, fine dining and shopping
  • Maintains excellent relationship with the city top restaurants, clubs, sport clubs, and associations
  • Offers pertinent info and makes reservations for transportation, Spa and Fitness Centre
  • Resolves guest complaints, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction
  • Anticipates guest needs, responds promptly and acknowledges all guests
  • Answers department telephone within 3 rings and using telephone etiquette
  • Communicates pertinent guest information to designated department
  • Assists others departments and performs other duties as required.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area throughout the entire shift

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a full-service luxury hotel or hospitality environment preferred

  • Previous experience in luxury retail or similar customer service position
  • Knowledge of multiple languages preferred
  • Knowledge of Hotel PMS preferred
  • To drive must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record for five years
  • Computer skills required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office software
