In Room Delivery/Mini Bar - Servers


Responsible for delivery and service of food, beverage, and amenities to hotel guests. Responsible for servicing and billing of all hotel minibars.


  • Due to fluctuating demands of the hotel’s operation, it may be necessary that each associate perform a multitude of different functions. As an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others as the occasion arises, and accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or directed.    
  • Adhere to all of the various written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instruction, etc. which go to make up the essential functions of the job.   
  • Perform in a manner which demonstrates the philosophies of the Essence of Granduca.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating with guests and other Granduca outlets. Handle guest inquiries about the services, menus, and amenities offered by In Room Dining as well as coordinating with other outlets for special requests.
  • Responsible for knowledge of all menu, both food and beverage, and daily specials.
  • Responsible for providing bar, wine and cocktail service within TABC guidelines and in according with Granduca’s Alcoholic Beverage Service Policy.
  • Maintain overall presentation of all areas including cleanliness, physical condition, and appropriate stocking of all condiments.
  • Operate Point of Sale system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor log books and amenity books to ensure all functions and amenities are properly recorded, ordered, executed and billed.
  • Prepare tables and trays in accordance to standards, deliver and service food in a timely and professional manner, including formal presentation of all meals and beverages including wines.
  • Responsible for product replenishment, accurate placement, and billing recording for all minibars.
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all minibars, storerooms, and minibar carts.
  • Responsible for use of proper telephone etiquette in taking phone orders and communicating with guests and other departments.
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of hotel hallways with prompt pick up of In Room Dining items.
  • Occasional set up and monitoring of hospitalities in suites or other outlets may be required.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new associates.
  • Participate in associate meetings, trainings, and daily line ups.
  • Alert a manager immediately if a guest has a suggestion, complaint, or issue.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality.
  • Participate and assist in controlling the loss and waste of food and beverage product and following F&B guidelines with regard to staff food and beverage consumption.
  • Responsible for knowledge of Hotel Granduca’s facilities and amenities to assist guests with directions and questions.
  • Alert a manager immediately if associate has or witnesses an accident or injury to a fellow associate or guest.
  • To assist others departments and perform other duties as required.

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment preferred
  • Must possess clear, concise written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate professionally and effectively with guests, fellow associates, and vendors.
